so far as I can tell, its generally caused more problems than its solved. For example, it (used to, anyway, I purged it a while ago) caused extra printers to show up in mozilla printer dialogs but the printers that it provided were not useful (generally too large font sizes etc). I purged it maybe a year ago and haven't missed it since. A
