I am trying to upgrade from sarge to etch and having issues with postgresql.
Here is the error on the screen, but I am
getting nothing in /var/log/dpkg.log or the syslog

Setting up postgresql-client (7.5.22) ...

Setting up postgresql (7.5.22) ...

Configuring already existing cluster (configuration: /etc/postgresql/7.4/main,
data: /var/lib/postgresql/7.4/main,
owner: 101:104)

Error: move_conffile: required configuration file
/etc/postgresql/postgresql.conf does not exist

dpkg: error processing postgresql (--configure):

subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Setting up ppp (2.4.4rel-8) ...

I can find the conf file in

/var/lib/ucf/cache/:etc:postgresql:postgresql.conf

And if I move that back into place postgresql-7.4 still will not start and
still provides not errors.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
