From one week ago one lpd process (in Debian Sid) progressively needs more CPU and memory. I need to kill it. Seems that is the LPD for one Samsung printer --6 months old, without problems until one week ago.
Only 15 min. after a done print job, now lpd PID 19449 have 61% CPU and 14.8% memory --and growing. $ ps ax | grep -i lpd 3518 ? Ss 2:01 lpd Waiting 19449 ? Ss 15:23 lpd (Server) 'Samsung_ML-2010_USB_1' 22870 pts/3 R+ 0:00 grep -i lpd 22868 ? Zs 0:00 [lpd] <defunct> Any idea? Thanks! Regards, -- Benjamí http://blog.bitassa.cat .
