Hi Jonathan,

you are right! why use a proprietary protocol when there's an open one?
In fact, I am an ekiga registered used... The people I have to talk with
have windows and use skype for connecting with their own tree of
personal contacts, who use skype too... so I am almost sure they will
continue to use skype. Th solution is to ask them to install an open
source program only to talk with me... which is hard to do too
