??? > $ apt-cache search php | grep pear | sort > php-pear - PEAR - PHP Extension and Application Repository ^^^^^^^^ He wrote, he HAS this package installed and try to download pear stuff Note: Under Etch I have the same problem. I can list pear packages available on <pear.php.net>, I can install them using "pear install <package>" (th package is definitivly downloaded and in the right directory) but if I want to use it, they are not availlable. Same problem for the "pecl" stuff.
