One thing comes to my mind: documentation. I'm sure there is plenty of documentation and infos on Debian, everywhere, but when you start, I imagine you feel more confortable with BSD documentation. On FreeBSD, we have this: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/ This is clear, simple to read. And this THE reference. Philippe
