OK Guys, My mouse is finally working thanks to Hurbert Chan who gave me trick that made the difference.
All I had to do was to include the SWCursor option in the XFConfig86-4 in the section for the video card. My thanks are extensive to all of you who replied to my message. -Marvin PS.
