I installed Woody in Feb. 2001 and ran without a firewall or update 'til this past Dec. when I saw something to make me think I'd been hacked. It took me a few months and a lot of study to prove I hadn't. I'm on dialup and pop3 and browsing is my only exposure. >What have other people here done with old hardware that they still >want to use? I've a Pentium MMX box with 256MB memory and an old Trident tvga8900b video board that Xorg has dropped. I'm running Etch using the Woody xserver-svga_3.3.6 and support libs. Had to do the same thing in Sarge and Slackware 11.0. HTH, Mike -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
