Hey, I am trying to install this .bin file from my desktop "jre-1_5_0_09- linux-i586.bin"
I want to change it into a .deb package file so its easier to install. what im doing now is opening up the terminal the file is on my desktop, so i type "cd /home/usr/Desktop" then i type "fakeroot make-jpkg jre-1_5_0_09-linux-i586.bin" which i assume changes it into a .deb file? and the terminal then tells me: "-su: fakeroot: command not found" whats going wrong?
