There are Debian instructions for using the Nvidia drivers as well. ===== Yes, I have a Nvidia card in my present machine, I've been compiling them for myself in Sid for years. The problem is that when I run the Nvidia driver in Etch the screen goes blank and the machine locks up completely. I think I will try getting/compiling the latest module from Nvidia themselves, to see if there is any difference.
