Well, first message to this list and first time I've ever
used/seen/installed Debian..
Just a general question really.. I've had RH/MDK dists installed for a
couple of years now so I have *some* idea of what I'm doing.. but I was
just wondering whether there is anything I need to keep in mind while
installing Debian..
I've downloaded all the iso's using jigdo (nice tool btw) and am ready
to burn them..
I've got grub installed at the moment which is quite happily allowing me
to dual-boot to XP.. will this be destroyed? and if I backup
/boot/grub/menu.lst and then re-install grub after installing Debian
will things keep working?
Any hints would be appreciated :)
TIA
Craig
