True. Good point. Either way it is rebuilding though. Not a big hassle if you already know how to do it. IMO, it becomes a bit tedious after a while. I gave up and use stock kernels now. The minor benefits I could achieve by rolling my own are negligible. And since my version of Sid (Sidux) gets kernel updates every week or so, it would be a frequent rebuild and IMO, not really worth it. It's bad enough having to rebuild the kernel modules for the video and my VM each time.
