This is not something I did with debian. I simply pasted the text from a serial
console. You can connect two computers' serial ports together using a null
modem cable and then use it to control the computer using a terminal program on
the second machine. All the text from the dmesg and all that stuff goes to the
serial console because I set it as my default terminal.
