I may have misunderstood but we've got three IMAP servers and they all collect email with fetchmail in daemon mode setup in /etc/fetchmailrc. In the last three years, I've not experienced the problems you indicate. extract: # /etc/fetchmailrc for system-wide daemon mode # This file must be chmod 0600, owner fetchmail # The default for this option is 300, which polls the server every 5 # minutes. # set daemon 300 set postmaster "postmaster" set properties "" Regards Clive -- www.clivemenzies.co.uk ... ...strategies for business -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
