The linux RAID howto says you don't need to make swap raid, just list the swaps in fstab and just give them the same priority i.e /dev/sda2 swap swap defaults,pri=1 0 0 /dev/hdb2 swap swap defaults,pri=1 0 0 /dev/sdc2 swap swap defaults,pri=1 0 0
