I can tell you why it happens. Because Debian user mailing list is also a usenet newsgroup and there are many spammers who scan the newsgroups looking for valid e-mail addresses. If you're a spammer, you already have mine. I suggest you set filters to reject it, because it's probably already too late to stop it from coming now. Best thing to do with Spam is to ignore it (or eat it if you like canned meat).
