Hi, I am trying to install intel fortran 90 compiler on debian unstable. I get the following error :
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - No such file or directory (2) error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm Installation failed. I would be greatfull if you could give me a pointer on what may be wrong and if it is possible to install these rpm packages on debian. I am not familiar with rpm but know dpkg and alien well.
