Such as? I am as I type completing an install of Etch on a PDSMi-based Supermicro server 8 time zones away from me. I did it as a debootstrap from a gentoo live cd remastered to work over serial console (no network boot server there). The ahci drver in Etch's standard kernel supports the ICH7 SATA controller.
