For the scsi scanner, you'll need to find out what connector 
it, and note the connector on your scsi card in the pc, then
you'll need to order a external scsi cable that has the right
connectors on both side - if the scanner doesn't come with
one.

I'd recommend stay away from parallel ones, they are very very slow.
