1) Why are you using grabit (a windows binary newsgroup downloader) to post this message? 2) What are you possibly thinking of trying to run such a new kernel on Sarge? 3) If the ati drivers (flgrx) are anything like the nvidia ones (it's been a while since I worked with them) then you'll have to have to compile the module with the appropriate kernel headers. Since you're messing around with kernels, you should know how about doing that. Even without the drivers from ati, you can always use KDE with the vesa driver or the open source ati driver.
