mutt, at least, has Reply To List. It knows that L means to reply to the list address, not the message's author. There must be GUI mailers that support this too, if you need a GUI MUA. btw, I've since commented out "set replyto ..." in my .slrnrc, so you shouldn't see a Reply-To: in this post (though I'm not yet sure that's a bright thing to do). If that's the right thing to do, perhaps this is what was confusing S-C. If so, my apologies.
