No, I can't give any examples, because since I switched to Debian, I have not encountered any commands that didn't work. When I used Kubuntu I did encounter problems with setting up iptables masquerades with sudo, and had to do a sudo -i to get a root prompt to do it. Strange behavior to say the least. One of the things that I really like about Debian compared to Ubuntu is that it gets the sudo vs. kdesu/gksu correct. No matter if the root is enabled or not, on a Ubuntu system they all want the USER password, which is in my book not the best way to handle it. It does make it easier if one has a poor memory however, and can't keep track of more than one password.
