Modem and hibernation work fine. I didn't
install wi-fi drivers, but I know that wi-fi works for some people
with ndiswrapper.
As for Thinkpads, I am so used to Hyper keys on the keyboard (aka
Windows-key :)) that I found these notebooks very uncomfortable.
