i finaly managed to get it sorted, it was a command line at the boot screen on f2 or f3 which was fb1024x768, so i guess that gives it a lower resolution that way... well im going to have a play now, look forward to hearing from you guys, and im sure i'll be in here lots screaming help, lol, take care, and thanks again:-) one happy Mog!
