It does? I'm pretty sure I've only seen white-on-black command-line windows in Windows. Can't ever remember seeing a black-on-white window. OTOH, I usually see black-on-white on *nix systems (Solaris, HP-UX, now KDE and GNOME) as the default state. -- John L.
