Actually I'm pretty sure the error was that in the subject I had listed the
name of a file, so the server filters rejected it.
Even after the message to which you are replying went through, I sent off
another copy of that message and it never came back. I changed the contents
of the subject field and it went through. That a latter message went
through was sufficient to determine the problem was in the message contents,
not in the latency of the mailing list.
