I have a ldap server running on etch installed some months ago and no
longer upgraded. The installation was done before etch was freezed.
Actually the ldap server works fine, if I erase the whole database and
rebuild it, it takes around 15 minutes.
I am installing a twin ldap server, same hardware, same ldap
configuration, except that etch is the most updated. The same database
takes MUCH longer time to load. I have tried to run a benchmark with
bonnie++ to compare disk access and on the second machine seems to be
even better. Any suggestion on what else I could check?
