For the unstable version of postfix put this in /etc/postfix/main.cf smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/sasl_passwd smtp_sasl_security_options = smtp_sasl_type = cyrus Create the file /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd containing: [relay.host.com] [EMAIL PROTECTED]:yourpassword and then run 'postmap sasl_passwd'. Restart postfix and you should be good to go. You might also need to set up address rewriting if your mail client is not set up correctly.
