When I try to run gnome-sudoku I get the following messages:

The system is a k7 recent sarge->etch upgrade with continuing daily
dist-upgrades. I have a 686 system and an amd64 on which gnome sudoku
runs perfectly. The libcairo2 files are identical between the i386
systems. I've reinstalled libcairo2, python 2.4, python-support and
python-gtk, but no change.
I have no experience with python and am stumped as to where to look
and what to try. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
