you first need to have FreeBSD partitions support to be able to work with them. Then, you need UFS filesystem support. Luckily, UFS write support is dangerous for some versions of UFS, but it's safe for FreeBSD's UFS (however I'm not sure if that woeks with softupdates...) > Anyways, keeping my fingers crossed.
