I did apt-get remove <a whole bunch of packages>
on a freshly-installed system (woody) without realizing that the conf files would be retained. Since it's a freshly-installed system, I don't need these conf files, so I should have done apt-get --purge remove <a whole bunch of packages> Is there a way to purge the conf files that's quicker than reinstalling and then purging the packages? -- Tod Hagan Concord, NH -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
