Of course it's not listed in "ps aux" because it's not a continuous
runner like ntp.
I put this in my root crontab:
#!/bin/sh
3 */3 * * * /etc/init.d/ntpdate start && /sbin/hwclock --systohc
Hey, that's odd. The file is gone, but the cron job still runs.
That's spooky.

Is "common sense" really valid?
For example, it is "common sense" to white-power racists that
whites are superior to blacks, and that those with brown skins
are mud people.
