Hi all, I'm a newbie for debian.
I've searched throught the web, but I'm not sure what reference is
suitable/good for me.
Could anyone suggest some links/books which are good?
You can start with "Debian reference"
apt-get install debian-reference-en
it is available also in other languages, so check the Debian
repository before installing the English version
You will find a lot of suggestions and comments in this two threads:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2005/05/msg01864.html

If by "a newbie for Debian" you mean you have some familiarity with
another Linux or Unix, than I'd highly recommend picking up a copy of
"The Debian System, Concepts and Technologies," by Martin Krafft. It
provides really good introduction to the specifics of Debian -
configuration, package management, how releases are structured, mixing
releases, the Debian Community, and such.
I found it extremely helpful when I migrated from RedHat to Debian a
couple of months ago (with a previous Solaris and BSD background).
