Yes, indeed. But you'll only notice it if the startup is very delayed
due to some strange module that delays startup. "Device driver" modules
usually probe very specific addresses and startup sequences, which don't
take too much. But if there is one that probes a lot of stuff it may
delay your boot.
It would be an interesting exercise blacklisting modules to speedup
startup. Keep us informed :)
