Hi,
I'm having strange problems when booting into Etch. Everytime I get
something different. Sometimes, it goes fairly quickly and with no
problems. Usually, it gets hung repeating one or both of two particular
messages, for anything from a few seconds to several minutes:
azx_get_resonse timeout
and
select() to dev/rtc wait for clock tick timeout
And very rarely, X fails entirely and it dumps me at a terminal login.
This last happened on booting after I had not done any meddling with
anything to do with X. I shutdown and rebooted with no problem.
I don't know if this is one problem or three, and I don't really know
where to start looking. Help!
