After upgrading X-related packages (mainly a switch from XFree86 to Xorg) on one of my machines, some fonts can no longer be displayed. And I've just got an error:
The font "-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal-*-12-*-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1" does not support all the required character sets for the current locale "LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1;LC_NUMERIC=C;LC_TIME=en_DK;LC_COLLATE=C;LC_MONETARY=C;LC_MESSAGES=C;LC_PAPER=C;LC_NAME=C;LC_ADDRESS=C;LC_TELEPHONE=C;LC_MEASUREMENT=C;LC_IDENTIFICATION=C" (Missing character set "ISO8859-1") (Missing character set "ISO8859-1") Anyone knows what the problem is? (I've done a search on Google, but many users had a similar problem, with no answers.) Note: it's a testing/unstable PowerPC machine. I've had no such problems with an unstable x86 machine. -- Vincent Lefèvre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Web: <http://www.vinc17.org/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <http://www.vinc17.org/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / Arenaire project (LIP, ENS-Lyon) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
