I have to use Python, which is new for me.
In particular I have to install some Python packages
which are not debianised on my Etch box:
I tired to do so, but I realized that the package
was installed in the /usr directory,
namely not in the /usr/local directory as I expected:
1] this seems not in accordance with the Debian policy
(and I do not like it);
2] is there some kind of `config.site' for Python ?
