There are already several 64 bit architectures supported (PowerPC, IA-64, etc). Do you mean x86-64 (aka AMD64)? Yes, Testing (Etch) currently builds for x86-64. I've installed it on an Intel EMT Pentium D system, and it worked fine in 64 bit mode. More info here: http://www.debian.org/releases/testing/ Download installers here: http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/ BTW, there are also 64 bit versions of Linux from other Distributions. Mandriva (I think) and Ubuntu come to mind. j -- Joshua Kugler Lead System Admin -- Senior Programmer http://www.eeinternet.com PGP Key: http://pgp.mit.edu/ ID 0xDB26D7CE PO Box 80086 -- Fairbanks, AK 99708 -- Ph: 907-456-5581 Fax: 907-456-3111 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
