Okay, this worked.

I did "dexconf -o /etc/X11/xorg.conf"
And then "dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg" (-phigh is unecessary)

And /etc/X11/xorg.conf was modified.

Shouldn't the dexconf command be listed in xorg.conf as well?
