what drivers have you tried?
looking at the 2.6.17.6 sources, there are 3 syskonnect/marvell
drivers:sk98lin, skge and sky2

reading the docu sky2 should probably fit

PS: i have an 2 older marvell chip that works with newer kernels and the
sk98lin driver, but have only read about the newer ones...
