Hi all,
From the Debian FAQ 8.5:
If you'd like to log all your dpkg invokations (even those done using
frontends like aptitude), you could add
log /var/log/dpkg.log
to your /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.
But, like, this doesn't work and stuff:
# cat /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg
log /var/log/dpkg.log
# dpkg -l
dpkg: configuration error: unknown option log: Success
How is this really supposed to work?
Thanks for your help,
Michael Peek
