First note about breaking of copyrights (yes, if you are in US, this would break the law) and then the method I use for such purposes (and when I am sure, it is legally OK) is to play it with any xine-based player (kaffeine, amarok, whatever) and set xine's output to file. You will get ~/xine-out.wav as a result.
