I didn't update a machine for a long time, maybe a year. I know that is bad. WHen I finally updated it with aptitude, there was a lot to update. Somehow, my cheap wheel mouse is not working after update.
What is the usual procedure to get it working again? I looked in /etc/modules and added mouseps but my other machine didn't need it to run, so I that didn't fix it. Looked at /etc/gpm.conf . Any ideas?
