Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. > Hi Roan, well the kernel is doing what it is supposed to do: kill a process when it eats up all the memory. The 2nd top snapshot shows that 99% of real memory and 100% of swap are being used. Maybe try to create more swap by making a parttion or using the 'swap file' technique or of course getting more RAM? Not sure how to address the issue if this is not it, as I am not a MYSQL expert. cheers, Kev -- | .''`. == Debian GNU/Linux == | my web site: | | : :' : The Universal | debian.home.pipeline.com | | `. `' Operating System | go to counter.li.org and | | `- http://www.debian.org/ | be counted! #238656 | | my keysever: pgp.mit.edu | my NPO: cfsg.org |
