Other question comes to mind -- I mean, really. Does anybody use aalib1 (BTW, it should be libaa1) for anything? I knew the original author of aalib, but I always understood that it is more fun than something serious -- to make it mandatory dependency so that everybody has to have it installed? The same problem is with mplayer, which is dependent on libaa1 as well.
