During the installation you will get asked, which tasks to install.
This will install a broad collection for various, for example a
webserver. The task you most likely would like to install is the
"Desktop Environment" task. This will install the graphical subsystem,
an office suite as well as some small games and other usefull tools.

After the installation you can do the very same by login in (just enter
"root" and the root-passwort you choosed during installation when you
see the command prompt), and run "tasksel". Select the Desktop taks and
go in okay.

Yours sincerely,
  Alexander
