Conside the following example The dependencies on privoxy are given by
$apt-cache depends privoxy privoxy Depends: libc6 Depends: libpcre3 Depends: logrotate Depends: adduser Recommends: doc-base Now whenever I am upgrading privoxy, I would like apt-get (or aptitude or whatever other software) to check if there any newer versions of the dependencies and update those as well.
