hi, i am supposed to be doing a benchmark testing of 3 different system configurations of amd64/xeon emt64 systems. the benchmarks should include power consumptions at various loads of cpu/disks/memory usage.
i am was thinking of using bonnie, iozone, cpubench, lapack etc and measure the power consumption using a power strip. it would be great if members could suggest some better ideas or other benchmarks that are there to test the performance and power consumption of systems. which would give better statistics. thanks john. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
