I have been migrating my boxes from Mandrake 2005 to ubuntu and now kubuntu. My server is a debian install. I have noticed that the ubuntu machines take a much longer time to establish the connection to the NFS server. Once the connection is done everything works fine. The Mandrake boxes connect quickly. I am talking several minutes for 5 mounts. Any suggestions?
