I seem to be having some problems with OO.org 2. The program starts up fine, and I can get the file -> open dialog to come up and navigate to the apropriate directory, but when I select a file for it to open it hangs. When it hangs I am unable to change desktops, select other applications from the taskbar, etc. either via the keyboard or with my mouse. The only way I am able to kill Openoffice is by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F2 to get to a text console. Has anyone else had this problem or know what might be causing it? I have tried removing all of the openoffice.org packages and reinstalling them, as well as deleting (moving) my ~/.openoffice.org2 directory. Any tips or hints would be much appreciated.
